Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Transport Studies handles information when you use our website, create an account, purchase a course or subscription, contact us, or use the Traffic Video Analyzer. It is intended to describe our current processing practices clearly; it is not legal advice.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, organisation, job title, interests and account/login identifiers.
- Payment and order information: plan, amount, order/transaction reference and payment status. Payment credentials are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by Transport Studies as raw card details.
- Analyzer information: analysis usage, video filename/size/duration, configuration, counts, derived metrics, reports and technical information needed to operate and secure the service.
- Communications: information you send through email, forms or WhatsApp.
2. Traffic Video Analyzer: video privacy
The current Traffic Video Analyzer performs vehicle detection and analysis in your browser using the video file selected on your device. The application saves analysis metadata and results to your authenticated history; the current analyzer database schema does not store the uploaded video file itself.
Traffic footage can nevertheless contain identifiable information such as faces, number plates, vehicle markings, locations or other contextual information. You should upload only footage you are authorised to process and should avoid unnecessary personal or sensitive information. If footage belongs to a client, employer, public authority or other third party, obtain the permissions required by your applicable contract and law before using the analyzer.
3. Why we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, provide courses and software, process orders, manage subscriptions and usage limits, save analysis history, provide support, prevent abuse, maintain service security, improve the website and comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal and regulatory framework
For users in India, our processing practices are intended to be operated with reference to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable rules and commencement notifications. For users in jurisdictions where the GDPR applies, processing is designed to follow principles such as lawfulness and transparency, purpose limitation, data minimisation, storage limitation and appropriate security. The exact legal basis and obligations can depend on the service, context, jurisdiction and applicable law.
5. Retention and deletion
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, service operation, security, accounting, dispute handling or legal obligations. Analyzer history is retained in your account until it is deleted through an available product control or deletion request, subject to information that must be retained for legal, security or transaction reasons.
Signup security records are designed to minimise personal data: signup attempts are rate-limited using salted hashes of the request IP address and email address rather than storing those values in the rate-limit table. These short-lived security records are used to prevent automated account creation and abuse.
You can request access, correction or deletion of personal information, where applicable, by contacting parth.loya@transport-studies.com. We may need to verify the request and may retain limited information where required by law or necessary for a legitimate security or transaction purpose.
6. Service providers and international processing
We may use third-party infrastructure and service providers including Supabase for account/database services, Cloudflare for hosting, delivery and Turnstile security verification, Cashfree Payments or another payment provider configured for a transaction, and email providers for transactional messages. Depending on the service and user location, information may be processed in countries other than your own. We use service providers subject to their applicable terms, security measures and legal requirements.
7. Cookies and analytics
We may use necessary cookies and technical identifiers for authentication, security and service operation. Our signup form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish legitimate visitors from automated signup attempts. Turnstile generates a security token in the visitor's browser that is validated by our server before an account can be created. Cloudflare may process technical information needed to provide this security service. If optional analytics or marketing cookies are introduced, the relevant notice and this policy will be updated.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including authenticated access controls, database row-level security for user-specific analyzer history, server-side Turnstile verification and signup rate limits. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's information
Our services are intended for adults and professional/educational users. We do not knowingly design the Traffic Video Analyzer or paid services for children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy when our services, processing practices or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published on this page with its update date.
11. Contact
Privacy questions or data requests can be sent to parth.loya@transport-studies.com or WhatsApp +91 97708 20427.
